Diskussion:Enstatit-Chondrit
Enstatite Chondritic parents for Earth[Quelltext bearbeiten]
I feel enstatite chondrite like materials were a common precursor for the terrestrial planets- Earth and Mars at least. Isotopic data of molybdenum (Dauphas et al., 2002), nitrogen (Mohapatra et al., 2009, Mohapatra and Murty, 2000) and Oxygen (Javoy, 1995) point to enstatite chondritic component in the Earth's mantle, while martian meteorite data show the presence of a similar component in Martian interior.
