Anchuria, Republik		Sunset	Südamerikanische Republik, die von einem Militärdiktator beherrscht wird und die sich in einem Bürgerkrieg befindet.

Ursprünglich sollte das gegnerische Fußballteam aus dem Nachbarland Laos kommen, doch es wurde befürchtet, das die Komödie in Laos anti-thailändische Proteste befeuern könnte. Central Usea, Federation of		Ace Combat	Großes Land auf dem Usean-Kontinent in Strangereal. Obwohl es ein großes Land zu sein scheint, wird der Ort und die Hauptstadt von Zentral-Unea nie gezeigt, obwohl die Skully-Inseln dazu gehören. Es war das erste Land, das in der Ace Combat-Serie vorgestellt wurde, da es der Schauplatz von Air Combat war.
Chernarus		Arma 2 and DayZ	Ehemalige Sowjetrepublik in Osteuropa. An der Küste des fiktiven Grünen Meeres gelegen, grenzt Tschernarus im Norden an Russland. Seine Hauptstadt ist Novigrad. Die einheimische Bevölkerung, die Sprache und ein Großteil der Geografie des Landes sind der Tschechischen Republik nachempfunden; allerdings gibt es in Tschernarus auch eine beträchtliche ethnisch-russische Bevölkerung, insbesondere in den nördlichen Grenzregionen. Cobra Island		G.I. Joe	Die Terrororganisation Cobra Command ließ die Insel im Golf von Mexiko entstehen, beanspruchte sie für sich und erklärte ihre Souveränität. Sie nutzten sie als Basis und als Fassade, die Cobra-Agenten auf der ganzen Welt diplomatische Immunität gewährte.

Ustio, The Republic of		Ace Combat	Country on the northeastern Osean continent in Strangereal. Once a territory of Belka, Ustio was allowed to secede during an economic crisis in Belka. When the crisis did not subside and resource deposits were discovered in Ustio, Belka invaded, occupying almost the entire country; Belkan forces were eventually pushed out during the Belkan War. Ustio is known to supplement its regular military forces with mercenaries. Its capital is Directus.

"Vulgaria" is also the tourist destination in Woody Allen's play and film Don't Drink the Water, a country located behind the Iron Curtain. "Vulgaria" is also used as the name of a fictional country in some of Lawrence Durrell's short stories based on the character of Antrobus, a British diplomat.
